The BSMT is funded by donations, as well as members' subscriptions and sales of books. If you would like to make a secure donation on line please go directly to our Charity Choice On-line Donation Service at www.charitychoice.co.uk We shall be adding a donation button to this website shortly. We are always very grateful to receive donations and have been very fortunate to receive funds from many different events - mainly concerts and donations in memory of loved ones. We sell Christmas Cards each year - look under Publications. Over the last ten years we have received two large bequests - both from musicians who wanted to help the Society. These have made a very big difference to us, enabling us to extend our activities - more meetings, better publications, purchasing of musical instruments for music therapy sessions, and now we are moving into our own premises - a leased suite of four offices, which will be a meeting room, general office, library and store room. Our new address will be published shortly - we are awaiting completion of all the legal formalities. We thank those who have sent donations in the past, and would encourage those who may in the future with the promised that any funds will be used to fulfil the aims of the Society - to promote the use and development of music therapy.
Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 28p. from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation to go further. This means that £10 can be turned into £12.80 just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make to the BSMT, and it doesnt cost you a thing.
