At your service
Sunday, May 29, 2022 – 30 minutes
Reverend Dr Dee Dee Haines spent over ten years on the Isle of Man, leading Rosemount Methodist Church in Douglas, and despite his ministry in various other countries, the island still holds an incredibly special place in his heart. . Returning here for a brief visit and to share in the Keeills Week of Prayer, Dee Dee joins us in sharing what she has learned through her current ministry at a hospice in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she is the Supervisor of spiritual care and music therapy, also responsible for bereavement support.
Multitasking might not be a term we would instantly associate with priestly ministry – but it is a reality in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Liverpool, of which the Isle of Man is part. Reverend Canon Aidan Prescott joins the program to explain how it works for him – and for his colleagues.
And Ruth Rice is back, to share another letter of her personal wellness alphabet, in case what’s good for her might be good for us too.
Ruth is the founder of Renew Wellbeing – cafe-style safe spaces where everyone is welcomed, supported and gently encouraged to find their own path to mental health and wellbeing.
We have Renew spaces at The Well on Broadway, Douglas, and at Peel Methodist Church – opposite the Centenary Centre.
And there are some fine London Fox Singers anthems
Plus plenty of information on the billboards – including details of those TT cafes – back to business!
