Last weekend, Andover Mini Christmas Rocks took place, providing a festive musical evening for attendees.

On Saturday, December 4 at The Swallow in Andover, local artists Jake Ward and Joe Bingham, along with local bands The Tipsy Gypsies and The Lowriders, performed to a sold-out audience.

The crowded pub meant the event had an electric atmosphere, coupled with an energetic audience blasted with music for a fantastic event.

Marie Ponting of Andover Rocks said: “We would like to thank all raffle prize donations from the Andover community, the artists for bringing such fantastic performances, The Swallow for being brilliant hosts and to all who came to support Andover Rocks once again.

“And of course to the Andover Rocks team – you guys are the best!”

Paul Williams, also of Andover Rocks, added, “It’s a great event to attend. It was edifying to be able to present the project for 2022 the calendar of musical interventions.

“For more information on this, visit the website www.andover-rocks.co.uk – there is something for everyone.”

Andover Rocks seeks to improve people’s mental health through musical intervention.

The team does this in several ways, first and foremost through a music festival that takes place every year.

It also organizes percussion and meditation workshops, storytelling, and poetry and expressive writing classes.
